  • Located at the entrance to Hawk (across the street)

  • Amherst Lake is a no-motor lake ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, and fishing with scenic views and quiet waters

  • Access & Parking: Use the State of Vermont Fish & Wildlife Access Area on the north shore, which includes a boat launch and limited parking. No beach.

• Echo Lake (Plymouth, ~2 minutes) 

  • A serene, 96-acre lake perfect for swimming, paddling, and fishing

  • Fish for trout, bass, pickerel, and panfish, or ice fish

  • Access & Parking: Park at Camp Plymouth State Park (2008 Scout Camp Rd, Ludlow) with beach access, picnic areas, and boat rentals.
